1. About FreshLimePay

FreshLimePay Cloud is a software-as-a-service commerce platform that allows businesses, creators, developers, and other merchants to create online stores, manage products, generate checkout pages and payment links, manage orders, sell digital products, offer subscriptions, and connect supported payment providers.

FreshLimePay provides software infrastructure. We are not a bank, payment institution, money transmitter, or payment processor unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific service.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use FreshLimePay, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, password credentials, company information, and account preferences.
  • Store information: store name, store description, branding, domain, product information, pricing, product images, descriptions, and other content you provide.
  • Order information: order identifiers, products purchased, quantities, prices, currency, order status, timestamps, and information necessary to fulfill an order.
  • Customer information: information submitted by customers during checkout, which may include name, email address, shipping information, billing information, and other information requested by the merchant.
  • Payment integration information: configuration information and credentials required to connect supported payment providers.
  • Digital product information: information required to deliver digital products, downloads, licenses, or other digital content.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring pages, approximate location, and usage information.
  • Communication information: information you provide when contacting support, submitting feedback, or communicating with us.

3. Merchant and Customer Data

FreshLimePay serves both merchants and their customers. The way we process information depends on the context in which the information is collected.

When a merchant uses FreshLimePay to create a store, product, checkout page, order system, digital download, subscription, or other commerce functionality, FreshLimePay may process information on behalf of that merchant in order to provide the requested service.

In those circumstances, the merchant may determine why certain customer information is collected and how it is used. Merchants are responsible for providing appropriate privacy notices to their customers and complying with applicable privacy, consumer protection, tax, marketing, and data protection laws.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information for the following purposes:

  • Creating and maintaining FreshLimePay accounts.
  • Providing stores, checkout pages, payment links, payment buttons, orders, subscriptions, and other platform functionality.
  • Connecting and communicating with supported payment providers.
  • Processing and managing orders on behalf of merchants.
  • Delivering digital products or other purchased content.
  • Providing customer and technical support.
  • Detecting fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized activity.

  • Sending marketing communications where permitted by applicable law and, where required, with your consent.
  • Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our agreements.

5. Payment Providers

FreshLimePay can integrate with third-party payment providers. Depending on the integration selected by a merchant, payment information may be transmitted directly to the relevant payment provider.

Payment providers may independently collect and process payment information under their own privacy policies and terms. FreshLimePay does not control the privacy practices of third-party payment providers.

FreshLimePay does not intentionally collect or store full payment card numbers unless a particular integration explicitly requires such processing and appropriate security and compliance measures are in place.

6. Payment Provider Credentials

Merchants may connect payment provider accounts to FreshLimePay. Depending on the integration, this may involve API keys, access tokens, client identifiers, secrets, OAuth credentials, or other authentication data.

Payment provider credentials stored by FreshLimePay are encrypted using AES-256 encryption and are protected using appropriate technical and organizational security measures.

Such credentials are used solely to provide the requested integration functionality and to securely communicate with the merchant's connected payment provider. FreshLimePay does not sell, rent, or use payment provider credentials for purposes unrelated to providing the requested services.

FreshLimePay does not own or control merchant payment accounts or merchant funds. Payment transactions are processed through the merchant's selected payment provider. Payment providers may impose their own requirements, terms, security policies, and privacy practices on merchants.

Merchants are responsible for maintaining the security of their FreshLimePay account and for ensuring that their use of connected payment provider accounts complies with the applicable provider agreements and requirements.
